Is The Muslim God And Christian God The Same

A Muslim may not think that Im right to say that were not serving the same God but I can say we are not. Is the Muslim God and the Christian God the same.

Both view God as all-powerful all-knowing and all-present.

Is the muslim god and christian god the same. Yes Christians and Muslims worship the same God since there can only be one God. A vital difference between the Islamic and Christian views of God is the biblical concept of the Trinity. There is much more to be said about the differences between the Christian God and the Muslim God but this much can already be said with confidence.

He is fundamentally incompatible. O Isa Ibn Maryam. In Islam however one has a retreat from this pinnacle of Revelation back to a remote OT-type of Deity Allah who sits supreme above humanity and does not descend to them.

But simply put the descriptions of God in Islam and Christianity are mutually exclusive and. Therefore Christians and Muslims DO NOT WORSHIP THE SAME GOD. Christians believe in one eternal God Who created the universe and Muslims apply these attributes to Allah.

First of all the God of Christianity is a Trinity where the God of Islam is not Quran 4157. The Trinity is the monotheistic teaching that God exists eternally as three distinct persons. Comparing the nature character the instructions and teachings of each and usually the practices of their believers we can quickly see the differences.

The Muslim and Christian views of God have some similarities. Basically the same God but a deeper Revelation. In Islam this is blatantly denied.

This cannot allow the two to pray under one roof. Both Christians and Muslims believe in the same what a God whose duties include things like creating receiving worship and judging. Allah is a false god.

Theres also a persistent belief certainly held by Muslims certainly held by many in our culture and held by many Christians that Allah the God of the Quran and Yahweh the God of the Bible are essentially the same. Muslims and Christians agree that there is one God who is the Creator of everything in the universe. Christianity is based on God sending His Son Jesus to atone.

Christians know that God has revealed himself in the Bible as one God yet three distinct separate PersonsGod the Father God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. So this God that Jacob worshipped this God that Abraham Isaac worshipped is the same God that Muslims worship today It sounds like the same God that. Each Person of the Godhead is fully God but Christians do not serve three different Gods.

Some say Christianity and Islam are sister religions. Muslims believe that person is Allah and Christians believe it is Yahweh. There is a great deal in common between the two faiths and there is much we can affirm as true in Islam just as Paul did at Athens of the Hellenistic gods.

Both Christians and Muslims view God as an eternal being all-powerful all-knowing and all-present yet there is a major difference in the Islamic view of God. Dear Muslim Reader In all truth and love you need to understand that youre in darkness and the god of Islam is a false god. In the Bible Gods personal name is Yahweh whereas the Islamic Quran gives Gods name as Allah.

They differ on who they believe is the person who occupies that position. The Muslim and Christian view of God have many similarities. But God is not Gods name.

No the God of Christianity and the God of Islam are not the same. We serve one God. The Father the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Some people argue that since Allah is simply the Arabic word for God Muslims worship the same God as Christians. Both view God as sovereign omnipotent omniscient omnipresent holy just and righteous. Similarly for some Christians Allah is just another name for the one God.

The God of Judaism YHWH He Who Is is more fully revealed in Christianity as One tripersonal God Father Son and Holy Spirit. He is the God Saritoprak says. The reason I said theyre not the same God is this The God that the Christian worship sent Jesus and Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no man comes to the father that means God.

Thus we have one symbol with several different meanings. But the answer is no they are not the same gods nor are they sister religions. The Christian God both in terms of what he is Triune and who he is Father Son and Spirit is not just different from the Muslim God.

In these ways Christians and Muslims worship the same God. However Muslims and Christians cannot pray together because they read form different books and pray in different styles. For most Muslims Allah is the only God and therefore must be the same God as the one that the Jews and Christians worship.

This is similar to the word Allah.
